This is a test ... this is only a test !!
If this had been an actual homepage, it would have taken longer and looked better.
Welcome to this web page I created a long time ago (and very fast!),
just to see how some things would work...

...and also to show some of my timid buddies that it isn't so hard to make a web page!
I had my heels dug in before I tried my first page, too, but it really is tons of fun! :o)

The LED sign at the top of the page was made using GIF Construction Set.

The lighthouse picture is one I "painted" using Paint Shop Pro.
It's a great graphics program, by the way.
 [Note (2000) -  I still use it (a newer version now) to make the graphics I use on my web pages.]
Painting entire pictures on the computer is fun, but the way I did it (with the mouse) is murder on the hand and dangerous to the mouse pad.  I wore one out --one each, hand and mouse pad -- in the process of painting a couple of those pictures! :o)

The roses were planted by me, but painted without my help.
