"Porch Swing -
labor and delivery"
or
"How did that swing get there?"
or
"Why you shouldn't believe everything you see on the web or in your email"
Step 1: Assemble tools and building materials. Be sure you have the following: An idea - (very important... do not proceed with project if idea is missing) Graphics program - (I used Paint Shop Pro) Photo of outdoor scenery - (I combined several for my porch picture) Picture of a porch swing - (from the web ... lots of places sell the swing I started with) Accessories for porch - (tree, flowers from the web. Lots of pictures out there! Add leaves, change colors, etc., until you like the way they look.) Step 2a:
Build a porch. (Hammers and power saws not required. Use
graphics Some pictures as the project
progressed. The grass is from a
picture of my back yard. Soooo... now that it has a place to swing, it's time to set the swing in motion, so to speak! Step 3: Prepare swing for
comfort and action.
Step 4. Make it swing.
