The weather was a bit hazy the day of the helicopter trip because of volcanic activity on the big island of Hawaii and winds blowing in the "wrong" direction, resulting in what is called "vog" -- (volcanic smog, I guess).  Though the camera had trouble getting good views through the vog and the helicopter window, I did see the most amazing sights with my own eyes, including the "wall of tears" with at least 17 waterfalls flowing at once, and Maui's tallest waterfall, Honokahau Falls, which drops more than 1,100 feet.
